Angus is the Vice President, Strategy at TribalScale where he uses agile methodologies and design thinking to help clients refine their digital strategies and prioritize their product roadmaps. He uses a range of facilitation techniques to help clients focus more clearly on customer needs and priorities.
Prior to TribalScale, Angus spent more than six years as the Vice President, Digital at The Globe and Mail, where he oversaw the creation of products and business strategies at one of Canada’s best-known media organizations. He developed a suite of products that attracted more than six million Canadians every month and generated almost $50 million in annual revenue.
Trained as a journalist, Angus is an active supporter of Toronto’s innovation ecosystem, providing pro bono consulting services to start-ups at the DMZ Incubator, as well as at the Centre for Social Innovation. He is an instructor at Ryerson University where he teaches Masters students in the journalism program how to be digitally savvy and think like entrepreneurs.
